Welcome to Nsoromma Design and Culture Group

We are dedicated to fostering social integration, celebrating cultural identity, and raising awareness of labor and civil rights among racialized individuals from the Caribbean islands and African diaspora in Ontario.

Our mission is rooted in protecting the cultural interests of our community, with a strong emphasis on empowerment through the rich tradition of Playing Mas, a vibrant expression of our heritage, resilience, and resistance against systemic and oppressive barriers.

*Playing Mas: A traditional Caribbean cultural practice involving elaborate costumes, music, and dance, symbolizing freedom, resistance, and celebration.
